Somatic Therapy
Imagine someone assisting you in calming the internal anxieties and emotional discomfort, all while having tea in your favorite mug or petting your beloved cat who's been there through it all. Somatic therapy has many differences from talk therapy. The unique combination of focus on the body and physical sensations in the client's preferred comfortable environment can create an ideal cocktail for people struggling with Intense trauma and discomfort. Especially when that previous trauma can be triggered by new experiences or even just leaving the house.

Trauma Resolution
We specialize in helping people with PTSD (Prolonged or Complex) understand the responses and emotions that come with experiencing something traumatic. Accompanied by somatic therapy, we take the whole body into account and provide therapy that is healing, as opposed to overwhelming.

ATTACHMENT IN INDIVIDUALS OR COUPLES
All of the therapists work with individuals & couples + relationships as a part of a larger system that comes in all shapes and sizes. Attachment-focused therapy is specialized, goal-oriented, and open to meeting you where you are. Couples, Premarital, marriage therapy, Open Relationships, and parent-child, siblings, and whole family, all genders, all peoples, all sexual expressions, all identities welcome.

SEX, SEXUALITY, AND INTIMACY
We work with you individually or as a relationship to optimize, enhance, or heal sexuality and intimacy concerns. Unshaming sex and embodiment of pleasure is a birthright that we value as therapists. We are LGBTQIA+ allied and welcome all forms of relationships, gender expressions, and identities.
How does Online Therapy Work?
Through online therapy you can address a variety of issues. In addition to working individually, as an adult or teenager, you can also work relationally. Working on the relationships in your life, such as with siblings, children, parents, or partners and significant others online is giving your connections the love, care, and repair they deserve.
Online therapy looks a lot like in-person therapy: you meet your therapist, discuss goals, symptoms, and history and chart a course towards the life you want. For some, doing this in-person helps you focus, for others, having therapy without the hassle of a drive or travel time gives you the buffer you need.
What are the Benefits of Online Somatic Therapy?
Accessibility, Comfort & Continuity
Accessibility: If location is the main reason you haven't been able to try out Somatic therapy, online sessions with an SE therapist are a great option. It can also be an amazing solution for people with no means of transportation or the desire to meet with a therapist a little farther away than is practical.
Comfort: There is something about meeting a new therapist and going to a new office that can be nerve-wracking in itself. Maybe this is your first time ever seeing a therapist, and you're unsure about parking and whether to knock or go straight in. Starting online provides a baseline of comfort that can be incredibly beneficial.
Continuity: Meeting online can be more accessible for busy schedules. Depending on the therapist’s schedule, weekend and evening sessions are less likely to interrupt therapy office hours. It can be so important to start out with consistent sessions. Consistent support will make all the difference.
