Why I do this work:

I know what it’s like to feel encased in a body that has felt broken, belittled, and blighted by unmanageable expectations. For years, perfectionism drove my desires and prevented me from embodying my authentic self. Over time, the tightness of perfectionism wounded my emotional,

mental, and physical spirit. It wasn’t until I had to slow down and teach the things I love that I learned the importance of becoming messy, making mistakes, and becoming comfortable with the unknown. Developing tolerance for the messiness of simply being allowed me to cultivate a deeper connection to myself and others and gave me permission to live more authentically.

It’s a privilege to serve as guide to individuals wanting to break free from their past and cultivate a greater sense of authenticity, connection, and empowerment to create the life they want to live.

Through the creation of a safe, present, and empathic relationship, you can re-pattern beliefs, behaviors, and perceptions to shift your overall experience. Whether you’re looking to overcome old emotional wounds, heal from profound traumatic events, or create more secure and meaningful relationships with yourself and others, I look forward to helping you unearth the path you are meant to travel on.

My therapeutic approach is nurturing, non-judgmental, compassionate, and present-focused. The work I do is invested in the mind-body connection, so I use mindfulness, body awareness, and expressive therapies like art and nature-based practices to connect you to yourself in ways that are tangible and authentic.

When trauma or attachment wounds show up, I use EMDR to offer a concrete and effective method for evoking measurable change. No matter what arises, I’m here to help clients build greater awareness of emotions, bodily sensations, beliefs, and patterns and I help them enhance confidence, self-esteem, and self-compassion.

Getting started in therapy can be a daunting experience. By the time you’ve decided to reach out for support, I know you’ve idled in the car weighing the pros and cons of started such an endeavor. I know you’ve probably read books, listened to podcasts, and have even turned to social media for insight. None of that can replace authentic connection and the feeling of being seen.

You deserve to release the weight of your past and wander unencumbered to the future you desire. Reach out today to see if we’re a good fit and begin this journey.
