Why I do this work:
I come to this work with a deep respect for the ways our experiences, especially those shaped in early attachment relationships, live within the body and the nervous system. I view many of the challenges people face in their relationships not as dysfunction, but as adaptive patterns that developed in response to needs for safety, connection, and belonging.
My approach is rooted in attachment-based and somatic principles, grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, both within ourselves and with others. By slowing down and bringing awareness to present-moment experience, I support clients in noticing how their attachment patterns show up in their bodies, emotions, and relationships. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, creating space for new ways of relating.
I am especially drawn to working with couples and families because of the opportunity to witness shifts in attachment dynamics in real time. As clients begin to experience greater safety, both internally and within their relationships, they are often able to move toward more secure and authentic connection with one another.
I do this work because I believe meaningful change emerges from fostering safety, awareness, and secure connection. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward deeper relational attunement, resilience, and a greater sense of wholeness.
with tons of love,
Abby Nipp
